APAR™ Software
EZ APAR™ Comprehensive
System Features: Email
Our Sales Dept.
The following "spec" sheet for EZ APAR™
will show you the extensive capabilities and deliverables for
this program. Plus you are assured of the high standard of technical
quality and accuracy that H2A and TRRP Commander IND™
provide. After all, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality
(TCEQ) purchased 100 licenses for TRRP Commander IND™
to facilitate their APAR reviews. EZ APAR™
uses the same software to automate your APAR worksheets that
TCEQ purchased to review them. |
1. Database Format
Allows the inputs and calculated results for hundreds (or thousands)
of sites to be stored in one software application file with
a sortable site list for easy retrieval. Data tables reside
in separate file from user interface application file to allow
data tables to be placed on a server while the application runs
on each licensed workstation. |
2. Site List Management
The Site List can be filtered by any user by entering information
in the input boxes provided on the Site List form. Input boxes
are provided for Site Number, Site Coordinator, Responsible
Person, County, and TCEQ Region. Partial entries are accepted
(for example, entering “Exx” in the Responsible
Person’s input box would restrict the Site List to Exxon
or ExxonMobil sites). |
3. Separate Scenarios for On-Site and Off-Site
For each site, a separate scenario can be created for both on-site
and off-site conditions. In each scenario the user is given
the choice of:
--Residential or Commercial/Industrial Receptors
--Complete Exposure Pathways
-- Groundwater Classification
-- Site-Specific Input Parameters |
4. Updated Tier 1 Tables
Each TCEQ update of chemical toxicity and physical property
tables is available for use as the basis of PCL calculations.
The date of the update selected is stored for display on reports
as required in APAR formats. |
5. Lab Data Statistics
Chemicals can be added to the list of COCs manually from a drop-down
list of chemical names or CAS numbers or electronically from
data links with DATA CommanderTM. Input screens are available
for the manual entry of
-- a. maximum concentration,
--b. representative concentration,
--c. maximum SQL of non-detect samples,
--d. MQL
--e. number of samples, and
--f. number of detections |
6. Automated Site Export
To send the information for a site to H2A for APAR automation
services, simply click the Export Site button, save the file
when prompted, and e-mail to support@h2altd.com. |
|
APAR Automation Services
Upon receipt of the exported site information, H2A will conduct
risk assessment calculations and APAR table generation, including
the following scope of work.
--• Exposure pathway analysis
----o Considering site conditions
----o Considering existing or proposed physical controls
--• Tier 2 modeling and PCL calculations for the
following pathways:
----o Total Soil Combined pathways
----o Inhalation of Vapors from Subsurface Soil
----o Leaching from Soil to Groundwater
----o Ingestion of Groundwater (or Class 3 Groundwater)
----o Inhalation of Vapors from Groundwater
--• PCL calculations for TPH using the results
of TX1006 analysis
--• Calculate Residential Assessment Levels
----o including Tier 2 Soil-to-Groundwater PCLs or, if Source
Area is greater than 30 acres, including Tier 2 PCLs for all
pathways
----o including the substitution of the MQL, Texas background
concentration, or site-specific background concentration if
greater than calculated assessment level
--• COC-Screening - identify chemicals that do
not require PCL calculations
----o Chemicals with all detected values and SQLs below the
assessment levels
----o Chemicals with no detections and SQLs below the assessment
levels
----o Chemicals which qualify for other screening criteria
--• Optimize critical PCLs for each COC
----o Select Tier with most favorable result (this can be done
independently for each exposure pathway and each COC)
----o Calculate critical PCLs including the substitution of
the MQL, Texas background concentration, or site-specific background
concentration if greater than calculated PCL
--• Generate and deliver APAR tables in PDF format
