EZAPAR™ AUTOMATION SOFTWARE & SERVICES

Introducing EZ APAR™, EZ APAR Plus, and Expert APAR™: Our APAR Automation Services programs make APAR Table Automation available to environmental consultants who are without the full-featured version of TRRP Commander IND™.

What is EZ APAR™ and EZ APAR Plus™?

The following "spec" sheet for EZ APAR™ and EZ APAR Plus™ will show you the extensive capabilities and deliverables for this program. Plus you are assured of the high standard of technical quality and accuracy that H2A and TRRP Commander IND™ provide. After all, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) purchased 100 licenses for TRRP Commander IND™ to facilitate their APAR reviews. EZ APAR™ and EZ APAR Plus™ use the same software to automate your APAR worksheets that TCEQ purchased to review them.

What is Expert APAR™?

Expert APAR takes EZ APAR one step further by having one of H2A's TRRP Experts put together all the site information and laboratory analytical already collected for your project in a complete APAR report that is ready to be submitted to the TCEQ by utilizing our TRRP Commander software. For more information, please contact H2A at (682) 593-0220.

EZ APAR Automation Software Featured Highlights:

1. Database Format

Allows the inputs and calculated results for hundreds (or thousands) of sites to be stored in one software application file with a sortable site list for easy retrieval. Data tables reside in separate file from user interface application file to allow data tables to be placed on a server while the application runs on each licensed workstation.

2. Site List Management
The Site List can be filtered by any user by entering information in the input boxes provided on the Site List form. Input boxes are provided for Site Number, Site Coordinator, Responsible Person, County, and TCEQ Region. Partial entries are accepted (for example, entering “Exx” in the Responsible Person’s input box would restrict the Site List to Exxon or ExxonMobil sites).

3. Separate Scenarios for On-Site and Off-Site
For each site, a separate scenario can be created for both on-site/off-site conditions. In each scenario the user is given the choice of:
-- Residential or Commercial/Industrial Receptors,
-- Complete Exposure Pathways,
-- Groundwater Classification, and
-- Site-Specific Input Parameters.

4. Updated Tier 1 Tables
Each TCEQ update of chemical toxicity and physical property tables is available for use as the basis of PCL calculations. The date of the update selected is stored for display on reports as required in APAR formats.

5. Lab Data Statistics
Chemicals can be added to the list of COCs manually from a drop-down list of chemical names or CAS numbers or uploaded electronically through TRRP Commander IND™. Input screens are available for the manual entry of:
-- a. maximum concentration,
-- b. representative concentration,
-- c. maximum SQL of non-detect samples,
-- d. MQL
-- e. number of samples, and
-- f. number of detections

6. Automated Site Export
If you have TRRP Commander and want to send the information for a site to H2A for APAR automation services, simply click the Export Site button and save the file when prompted then contact H2A at (682) 593-0220 for additional instructions. Once the report is finalized, this feature can be used to submit the electronic export file along with the paper copy to the TCEQ.

How does EZ APAR™ Work?

  1. Download H2A's Lab Data EDD format file and TRRP Commander Input Worksheet (FREE download).
  2. Enter site info (such as site name, address, land use, groundwater classification, Tier 2 input parameters, if available) into TRRP Commander Input Worksheet.

  3. Use the H2A EDD format file to enter your lab data in Excel. Your lab can easily provide current data electronically in this format. Historical data can be easily copied from existing Excel worksheets.

  4. Then contact H2A at (683) 593-0220 for instructions on how to send us your Input Worksheet, Lab Data EDD, and Site Map.

  5. Receive Completed TRRP Screening, Calculations & APAR Worksheets optimized by anH2A TRRP expert in an electronic format ready to Insert in YOUR APAR.

How does EZ APAR Plus™ work?

After using the EZ APAR tables to create your APAR, have an H2A TRRP expert review your draft APAR and suggest changes to text, maps, and tables to make sure that the TCEQ, and your client, is happy with your submittal with H2A’s EZ APAR Plus™ service. A review includes making edit changes and text revisions in addition to technical suggestions.
